7 Signs to Your AssignmentHalimbawa
Creativity is the fuel for solving problems.
Steve Jobs wanted a better way to listen to music, so he invented the iPod.
Michael Jordan was looking to win his sixth championship, so he created a steal on Karl Malone which led him to create the game-winning shot.
Your watch solves a problem. Your car solves a problem. Your home solves a problem. Your TV solves a problem (whether that is good or bad is up to you).
Millions of problems are being solved every day. Just think for a second about all of the micro problems you have already solved today?
- Shower / Water
- Clothes
- Shoes
- Glasses
- Food
- Bowls
- Car
- Gas
- Electricity
You are solving problems because it's part of your DNA from the creator. Man needed help, God created a solution.
'Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] suitable and complementary for him.” ' Genesis 2:18
If you're like me, which you probably are, you're probably saying, that's great for everyone else, but what about me?
How do I figure out my assignment?
The first step is to understand you were created to solve a problem. That gift is within you.
The second step is to become aware of all the problems around you. Many of these problems are being solved. In fact, you are solving problems every day.
The third step is to bring more awareness to the problems you are solving and the belief that you are a problem solver.
If you don't believe you can solve problems, bigger problems, you never will. You will stay stuck believing it's for someone else.
Someone smarter.
Someone with more money.
Someone who doesn't have kids.
Someone who isn't married.
Excuses will keep you stuck and limited.
Hear me out.
Begin to build up your belief system.
If the enemy can keep you small.
You will never get out and do something.
You are a solution to someone.
You are a reward to someone.
You are a gift to someone.
You are needed.
You are wanted.
What if Martin Luther King Jr. decided he wasn't good enough?
What if Mother Theresa didn't believe she could help people?
What if Thomas Edison gave up while he tried to create a lightbulb?
What if David decided the giant was too big?
Before you discount any of the names above, you have to remember they started out just like you. They didn't have a following. They just had belief.
They had a desire to solve a problem. When they locked in on their desire to solve it, it became their assignment.
Nothing else mattered.
When you hear those limiting beliefs. When doubt knocks on your door. You don't have to answer it. Let it ring. Take a message.
Your assignment is too critical. Your assignment should be your only focus in life.
'The LORD responded, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a child.’ Where I send you, you must go; what I tell you, you must say. Don’t be afraid of them, because I’m with you to rescue you,” declares the LORD. ' Jeremiah 1:7-8
You don't need to be afraid, it's time to face your fear and go through it.
You were born to solve a problem. Get creative and solve problems. The problems are the path to your assignment.
It's like the "yellow brick road". Keep following the problems. Keep solving problems. Keep taking notes on what problems you enjoy solving.
Getting creative and solving problems is a sign of finding your assignment.
Let me know how this resonates with you?
I’m rooting for you.
