FRUITFUL FAITH: LIVING IN HOPE

Let us continue our thanksgiving by living in the hope of receiving the answers to our prayers.

Don't forget what we have prayed. Romans 8:25 shows that hopeful people are diligent, optimistic, enthusiastic, strong, rooted, and focused.

One day my neighbor, a member of the young adult church, came to me and said, "Sir, please pray for me because I need a job." I asked the young man, "How many job applications have you written and sent?'' He replied, “Oh, I'm waiting for God to lead me." How often do we have an attitude like this young man? It's true that we need God's guidance, but too often, we are too lazy and distrustful.

Live in hope!

Are you praying for a life partner? Look for the best! Make friends with lots of people! That person might appear today or tomorrow. If we don't have hope, it means we don't believe. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

Today’s devotional

1. Do you have faith in your prayers or in God?

2. Do you still remember your prayers from one week ago? Do you still expect the answers to your prayers?

Today’s action

Let us not forget what we are praying for, but continue living in the hope of the Lord.
