14 Days to Integrating Faith and FitnessHalimbawa
We Aren’t Promised Tomorrow
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last. - CT Studd
You don't have to be a professional, competitive athlete to integrate faith and fitness. You don’t have to have the fastest Fran time or the heaviest deadlift. On the flip side, you also don’t have to be a decorated theologian and have all the right answers that will wow a congregation of people. You just have to be intentional.
Don’t waste your life being fit and stop short of the goal of developing your faith and the faith of others. Use every gift and opportunity God gives you to make eternal deposits that will last long after your biceps dry up, your mile sprint turns into a stroll around the neighborhood, and your days of playing soccer turn to watching from the sidelines. Mark my words: those days are coming for us all. The Bible reminds us that we aren’t promised tomorrow. In the grand scheme of eternity, our lives on this earth are a blip on the radar.
Let’s take advantage of the time God has given us before it’s too late. Let’s not waste our lives.
