21 Days of CelebrationHalimbawa
Day 4
“Rise up, O Lord, in all your power. With music and singing we celebrate your mighty acts.”
Psalms 21:13 NLT
Question:
Do you recognise through the singing and music in which you participate when worshipping that it is to wholeheartedly celebrate God and the story of his work?
Application:
There are occasions in life when we require God to step in through his power to influence us and our thoughts about ourselves. Yet this Psalmist not only encourages and invites God to demonstrate his rulership and sovereignty, but the response of people is worship and adoration rooted in celebration.
Set aside a time (it could be your own personal moment, in a group environment, or at the next gathering that you attend this week) where are you engage music and singing with celebration of God’s mighty power at work in your life.
Prayer:
Father God, before I make any request and ask for anything from you I first want to say thank you. In music and with singing, I choose to celebrate your goodness - your mighty power at work in my life. May I reflect your glory as I put you on display. Amen.
