Kaya't muli nilang ipinatawag sina Pedro at pinagsabihang huwag nang magsasalita o magtuturo pang muli tungkol kay Jesus. Subalit sumagot sina Pedro at Juan, “Kayo na ang humatol kung alin ang tama sa paningin ng Diyos, ang sumunod sa inyo o ang sumunod sa Diyos. Hindi maaaring di namin ipahayag ang aming nakita at narinig.” Wala silang makitang paraan upang parusahan ang dalawa, sapagkat ang mga tao'y nagpupuri sa Diyos dahil sa nangyari. Kaya't binalaan nila ang dalawa nang lalo pang mahigpit, at saka pinalaya.
