Jesus Isตัวอย่าง
Day 20: Protects/and or allows suffering
Jesus wounds and heals us. He knows that sometimes, the love we need the most is the love we want the least. So sometimes, He is the surgeon who wields the scalpel, and sometimes the nurse who gently tends to our injuries, and sometimes, he miraculously heals before we even need a hospital. He may also withhold healing for a time because He knows what we truly need. It’s a big one to unpack, but these are both realities of the Jesus we love and serve. He always wants to heal, but we don’t always see it, even when we are full of faith and deeply devoted, but through it all, we can trust that God is always good in an always broken world.
1) Which of these two parts of Jesus am I more comfortable with? Why?
2) What can I learn about Jesus and put into practice from accepting the part of Jesus that comes less naturally to me?
3) Write a short statement to remind yourself of these multi-faceted truths about Jesus.
a) Hebrews 12:5-6
b) Hosea 6:1
c) 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
d) Jeremiah 30:17
e) Matthew 14:14
f) Deuteronomy 32:39
g) 1 Peter 2:24

This December, we want to celebrate who JESUS IS. He is much more than we can comprehend; He is so good and multi-faceted! This reading plan will serve as an opportunity to look deeper into the many aspects of Jesus this holiday season. This plan was created by Madeleine Weidemann.
