Read Luke 2:13-15

This birth announcement comes straight from heaven to the lowest people on the social ladder. They hear about the birth of the Messiah and go right away to see what happened.

Pray

Pray that you would have the same kind of spirit to go see God at work. Pray especially that you are not too busy or preoccupied this season to have the time to lay things aside and see what God is doing in your life.

Practice

Make plans to spend 15 minutes in silent prayer today. Spend that time telling God that His will and His purpose in your life is more important than the hectic schedule you have right now. Listen for His will and His way in your life as you read over Luke 2 again.
