This popular Christmas song would lead us to believe that there were three wise men from the orient that came bearing gifts to the new baby. As you study scripture this turns out to be inaccurate.

Matthew 2:11 is the verse for today. I highly encourage you to read all of Matthew chapter 2. This will give you a broader picture of the magi’s journey to see Jesus.
