The Old Testament On Purpose

วันที่ 2 จาก 5

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Better yet, what risk would you take if you knew you were invincible?

It may sound like a silly question, but these questions get to the heart of what is being said in Job 42:2. We serve a God who cannot fail. His plans do not go awry. His purposes do not come up empty.

When God sets out to accomplish something, it happens – always. He spoke light into existence. He molded us from the dirt. He sacrificed His son for our salvation.

God’s plans always go God’s way.

Now, take a moment to think about how we fit into this. We are His children, set upon this earth for His reason, and aiming to fulfill His purpose for our lives.

If that’s true, then why are we so afraid of taking risks? Why are we so disheartened when things seem to be going off-track? God has promised us that His purposes cannot be thwarted.

If we are a part of His purpose – what does that make us? Unthwartable.

We might stumble in the short term. But in the grand scheme of things, in the bigger picture of what God is doing – there’s no way we can fail if we are His.
