The truth is, as “sheep” we are not wise in ourselves. We are wayward, lost and in need of a Shepherd to save us and lead us. BUT, when we put our full trust and faith in Jesus alone to save us, nothing – no one – can snatch us out of the Father’s hand!

Oh friend, do you believe that you can trust God in life AND in death? Only through Jesus can we be restored to a right relationship with God, and only through Jesus is our salvation secure. If we had to trust on something WE could do to gain our salvation, it would rest on our imperfect works and would fail.

But at this moment we can be confident of this: if we have trusted in the finished work of Christ on the cross to save us, our eternal future is secure in Him! We serve a God who can be trusted in life AND in death. Hallelujah, what a Savior!
