Pearls and Promises for Your MarriageНамуна
KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read Ephesians 5:23, 29-33.
Paul repeats God's words from Genesis 2:24. What is the one-flesh union of husband and wife a picture of, according to these verses in Ephesians? This can be difficult to remember in the midst of everyday life. Take a few minutes to meditate on this truth now and let it penetrate your heart and mind.
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read Ephesians 5:23.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
Focus on this union between you, your husband, and Christ. Take 2-3 minutes to prayerfully meditate on what it means to be under your husband with Christ as the head of your home. Remember this union when you are making decisions today. In your prayer time ask God to help you see this union more clearly each day and to show you practical ways to live it out every day.
