Do Good.

Choose to do good. Do good and let God lead your heart. Do good and let God lead your course. Do good and let God lead your path. For the Amplified Version expounds upon Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ ‭AMPC‬,‬ in the following manner, “Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

Be generous. Be generous with your time. Be generous with your gift. Be generous with your influence. Be generous with your knowledge. Be generous with your understanding, wisdom and insight. Be generous, distribute and contribute to the needy. Serve others in need.

Serve others. The gifts, skills, talents and abilities that God has gifted you were not for you to hoard—your gifts are designed to transform the world.

Your gifts were meant to Glorify God. Glorify God through your gifts. Glorify God through your talents. Glorify God through your abilities. Let God lead the work of your hands. Do good and let Christ shine His Light through the work of your hands.

The New International Version puts it this way, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

Share with others. Share your wisdom. Share your talent. Share your time. Serve and do good.

Prayer

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender to You. I surrender my heart. I surrender my thoughts. I surrender my ideas. I surrender my dreams.

Father, I surrender to You. Father, I surrender my skills, gifts, talents and abilities to You. Father, I choose to serve You. Father, I choose to honor You.

Father, there is no one like You. I choose to yield to You. Father, I choose to bow to You-forever.
