DAY SEVEN

God is in Control

These are exciting times! We are seeing the words of the prophets fulfilled right before our eyes! Truly we are living in the last days!

We must begin to live each day as though Jesus is coming back before morning. That's the reason the early Church was such a powerful Church. Jesus told them that He would return in the same manner that they saw Him leave, and they were to occupy until He returned. He instructed them to preach to the uttermost parts of the earth, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out devils. They didn't know exactly when He was coming back, so they acted as though it might be any day.

In Acts 3, it says that Heaven is holding Jesus back until the restitution of all things. The Holy Spirit is at work in the earth right now setting the stage for this glorious event.

In these days, it is imperative for us to be established in the Word of God. There are many voices in the world today trying to deceive. There are those who are messengers of Satan and are leading people astray. The Bible says that in the last days many will fall for doctrines of devils (I Timothy 4:1). That's the reason you owe it to yourself to become so established in God's Word that you can't be seduced.

Spiritual battles have been won, but the war is not over. We must continue to come against the strongholds of Satan and fight the good fight of faith. No matter what it looks like in the natural, GOD IS IN CONTROL! I don't intend to "blow it" when the greatest event in the entire history of the Church is about to take place!

We need to know what the Word of God says about these situations happening in our world instead of falling for what the press says about it. The walls of Jericho fell, and the walls of Berlin fell also. God is moving, setting everything in order to fulfill Bible prophecy. You can't keep God from doing what He said He would do!

We must get stirred up! Time is running out! We have the promise of His glorious appearing! When the earth is covered with darkness, the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon us. God is going to raise up a glorious Church in the midst of the darkest hour the world has ever seen! HE IS IN CONTROL!
