God's Redemption Story (Revelation)

DAY 15 OF 40

We Don’t Know the Day or Hour - Day 15

The Foursquare denomination gets its name from the identified fourfold ministry of Jesus Christ. These four “squares” of Jesus’s ministry are made up of his roles as our Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon and Coming King. You’ve likely heard many messages about Jesus as your savior or healer and maybe learned a few things about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. But that last one—our soon and coming King—might be a new one for you. What does it mean? Let’s break it down. Soon means we don’t know when he’s coming, but we should be prepared. Coming means Christ’s return is a guarantee that we can bet the farm on. King means he’s going to set all things right. Followers of Jesus can rest with full confidence that any day now, he will come back to make all things right for the ones he created and loves.
