Mo (short for Mohammed) sat down next to me in the mall. Great conversationalist. After I discovered his profession he asked "Why are you here today?"
"I'm here to ask folks if they will answer a 10-question religious survey. Would you be willing Mo?"
We went through the questions. Mo did not want to be guilty of any of the 4 commandments from the Bible (lying, stealing, blasphemy, and adultery via lust per Jesus' statements). This response is RARE.
It looked like he was going to have to go so I shared how I used to be an atheist and a drunk and how Christ changed my life. It took about 2 minutes. Then he didn't have to go and he brought up the word religion and "not putting ME down," but he has a lot of problems with all religions!
I explained there's a difference between the leaders. Jesus is Love. He agreed and said he hates Mohammad though he calls himself a Muslim. He explained why (the founder's immorality, a warrior, etc.).
Mo feels that you need to do your best and then everybody will be happier. He cannot believe Christ rose from the dead. We were interrupted and he had to go before I could explain the resurrection more fully.
He has my business card with the QR code leading to my testimony and my cell#. As he walked off, he turned and said, "I really like you Drake, but I think it's sad people try to convert people to their own religion."
Pray right now for Mo. Ask God to open his eyes to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You 😀!

Thanks for entering my journey of Going Fishin'. Would you like to feel more equipped and confident in the Holy Spirit to share Christ? You might start by memorizing a verse a week of your choice. The MemLok Bible Memory System could help you.

About this Plan
Many people are smiling, but hurting inside. I have discovered that God is doing something in everyone's life, and He's doing something in mine too! I'm loving/praying for strangers like never before. And they are grateful. These personal stories in my life are to help you help others move one step closer to God.
