Good FaithНамуна
Sometimes, walking in faith is challenging. Say we choose to do good and follow God’s leading in our lives. We step out in obedience and trust that we’re walking on the right path. We’re confident in the choice we’re making and the steps God is asking us to take around it. And then . . . nothing happens. Things don’t change, we don’t make an impact, we feel left or forgotten by God, or nobody notices the good we’re doing. Just like that, what started as a confident step of faith suddenly feels like standing on shaky ground at best. That’s when Paul’s words to the Galatians here can help us.
It’s a reminder that it’s not our job to know what comes on the other side of a step in faith. Our job is just to take the next step and trust God with the rest. When we do, we can know that, at the right time, we’ll see the payoff for our steps of faith. Think about a step of faith you feel called to take in your life. What would it look like for you to step into that? One step at a time, how can you keep going and choose not to give up? How can you trust God’s timing in this part of your life?

About this Plan
We’re told to have faith that certain things will happen, to put our faith in ourselves, to keep the faith, to be faithful. But while phrases like that get tossed around in our vocabulary all the time, have you ever stopped to wonder what faith is really all about? At its core, faith is all trust, hope, and confidence. In this devotional, we’ll look at how putting our faith in Jesus shapes the way we live.
