Living in Increase (Part 3) - Increase in PurposeНамуна
Week 4: Know Your Journey
Finding Your Path
A vital part of increasing in purpose is knowing the journey God has called you to. Everyone’s journey is different, so we must look to Scripture to understand God’s plan for each of our lives.
Proverbs 3:5 tells us to “trust in the Lord with all [our] hearts.” Finding out which path God wants us to take begins with trusting Him. As we trust God, lean less on our understanding, and seek His will, He will show us which path to take.
However, we often have this process backward. We sometimes choose a path based on our understanding (a good position, a raise, experience, etc.) instead of seeking Him first. Then, once we make the decision, we ask God to bless it!
I believe that God works all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28), so if you find yourself choosing a “wrong” path, I believe God will help you get to where you need to go. However, I encourage you to trust God and seek His will before setting out on a path. Why? Because God’s Word says that God will show us the path to take when we do this first!
If you’re confused about what next step to take, I encourage you to trust God. Forget what you think you know and seek God’s will above your own. He will show you which path to take!

Action Step: Think of the decision you’re trying to make right now. Write out the different “paths” or options that are available. Then, express your trust in God. Tell Him how much you trust and love Him, and ask Him to make your path straight!
