How can we prove God’s identity?

As discussed yesterday, we humans have official documents proving our existence and identity. What “official documents” show proof of who He is?

Truthfully, God doesn’t need proof. That’s a part of faith; it takes believing before we have evidence to have faith! However, God’s proof can be found in the Bible, God’s written word to us.

God proves Himself in every moment of every day, and there’s specific proof that He exists and loves you and me unconditionally in His Word. John 3:16 says, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”

We believe that we can see the things of God through the lenses of faith, which is belief. If we believe in Him, we have faith in Him, and as we accept His love for us, we see change happen in our lives!

God’s identity is proven by the evidence of the impossible becoming a reality. Only God’s love does the impossible, taking us from death to eternal life!

Action Step: Think of an “impossible” situation you or a family member are facing. Ask God to do supernatural work in that area and believe that He will do the impossible! This is how we increase in faith!
