Living in Increase (Part 7) - Increase in PrayerНамуна
"Your Kingdom Come."
What does it mean when the Bible says, “Your kingdom come”? When we ask God for “His Kingdom to come,” we speak to God that we are giving up our ways for His Ways. We need to be saved from our desires to have our own will.
His Will is always going to be better than ours. It’s unbelievable how we can know that to be true and still dig our heels in and pray that things will work out how we think they should!
Praying for God’s Kingdom to come is one of the most challenging prayers a human being can make. We tend to think we know what is best for us and even those close to us when we honestly cannot understand what is best. If we did, we wouldn’t need God.
His Kingdom is a Place of Perfection! Being in the center of His Will will only lead to the Abundant Life we all deeply desire.

Action Step: Identify things in your life that seem to be in a cycle of repeating themselves (i.e., failed relationships, eating things that are not good for you, going into debt, etc.). These could be areas where your will takes precedence over God’s Will. Ask God to show you how to bring those things in line with the Laws of His Kingdom!
