A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

Because some of Jesus’ warnings in Luke 12 are so stark, it is easy to read them in a purely negative light. Some teachings are for the close disciples of Jesus and some for the crowd of thousands who have gathered. We do well to note this context as we read. This passage is when things begin to get serious. Following Jesus in the first few years of the movement is not going to be easy and may cost many their lives. Are they willing?
