A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

Notice the pattern here. No matter how hard Christians try to explain their theology of the law and Temple, people become too enraged to hear. With the understanding of people becoming temples which house the presence of God, and all he has seen of the Spirit’s work amongst those who have never even been to Jerusalem, Paul would have no interest in trying to bring Gentiles into the Temple.
There are many “if only” moments in this section of Acts. Paul must have thought if only people could see that he was not trying to dishonour the Jewish law, but actually be more faithful to it. However people were so caught up in rage that they did not want to understand what Paul was doing.
