A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

The events of this chapter serve as a reminder of the kind of kingdom that Jesus came to bring. God’s plan from the beginning was to live with His people side by side. Jesus came to restore humanity back to right standing with God. In the context of this scripture, that restoration meant God would reestablish His reign in the hearts of mankind instead of requiring the people to travel to a temple building.
God still desires a deeply intimate relationship with us today. As you reflect on this scripture and examine your life today, ask yourself: Is there a part of my life where I am resisting God's desire for intimacy?
