God With Us, For Us
God loves us so much that He sent His Son to draw us back to Himself.
In sending Jesus, God revealed His deep, personal love for each of us. John 3:16 captures this truth beautifully: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” Jesus’s birth, life, and sacrifice were all about drawing us back to the Father and healing the brokenness in our relationship with Him. At Christmas, we remember that we are not alone; God sent His Son so that we could know His love and be with Him forever.
This wasn’t a quick solution or a distant act. God’s love was so great that He planned for Jesus’s birth, knowing that He would become the perfect sacrifice for our sins. When we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate a love that goes beyond understanding—a love that didn’t just say, “I love you,” but showed us by stepping into our world and our lives.
Jesus grew from a baby into a man who lived the perfect life we couldn’t live ourselves. He faced temptation, sorrow, and joy, showing us the way to live in close relationship with God. Even when we feel unworthy or far from him, Christmas reminds us that God’s love is always reaching out to us.
Prayer: Reflect on what it means that God is “for you.” Ask God to help you experience His love in a new way this season and to show that love to others, inviting them to know God’s love too.

About this Plan
This five-day devotional, "God With Us," reflects on the miracle of Jesus’ birth as Emmanuel—God with us. Each day focuses on a different theme: the gift of God’s presence, Jesus’ humanity and divinity, his love for us, his understanding of our struggles, and the joy of belonging to God’s family. Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and the promise of Christ’s enduring presence with us.
