Offer prayer and help. There's almost no better way to lift someone up than to lift them up in prayer. Prayer itself is an act of love and discipline, focusing your heart and mind on someone else before God. When you pray for someone, you're inviting the Holy Spirit to work in their life, bringing their needs and concerns before the Lord. As 2 Corinthians 9:2 highlights, your eagerness to help and pray for others can stir them to action and encouragement.
