Joshua became the leader of the Israelites after Moses died. They were still wandering in the desert, and God chose Joshua to be the one who would lead them into the Promised Land. But there was a problem! People were already living in the Promised Land. God told Joshua to fight the people and claim the land for the Israelites, but Joshua did not want to fight. God promised that He would be with Joshua, and told Joshua to not be afraid. With God's help, Joshua and the Israelites fought and won - and then they started living in the Promised Land!
