1 Peter: Exiled, but Not Alone | Video DevotionalНамуна
Refresh Your Heart
Now that you've read through the book of 1 Peter, we invite you to re-watch the overview video from Day 1. Re-watching this video with a fresh set of eyes will remind you of everything you've learned as you revisit the overarching theme of the book of 1 Peter: Exiled, but Not Alone.
Reflect
Next, reflect as you re-read 1 Peter 4:12-19. Ask God to send his Holy Spirit to help you understand that suffering for Jesus is not unexpected but is a core part of our identity as his followers. Remember, Peter says that sharing Jesus' sufferings means we will share in his resurrection power as well.
What's Next?
As believers in Jesus, we are called to become more like Jesus. This happens as we see him in God's Word (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, we invite you to keep looking for Jesus on every page of the Bible.
If you'd like to continue studying the epistles, check out our reading plan on 2 Peter where Peter answers questions about God's judgment. Or, study one of our other reading plans available on YouVersion. Just search for “Spoken Gospel” in the reading plans section.
Our prayer is that God will continue to transform you and that you will become more like Jesus as you see him on every page of the Bible.

About this Plan
This seven-day plan will walk you through the book of 1 Peter by reading a short passage daily. Each day is accompanied by a short video that explains what you're reading and how it's all about Jesus. In this plan, you'll learn how being an "exile" does not mean we are alone. Instead, it means we are connected to God's promises and have hope even in suffering.
