Reading With the People of God - #6 LOVE

DAY 15 OF 31

Memorization Challenge: 1 Corinthians 13:8-10

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away

Reading Primer: Embracing Integrity and Forgiveness

As we delve into today’s scriptures, we will discover a call to embody integrity and forgiveness. In Psalm 18:20-50, David praises God for delivering him because of his righteousness and faithfulness. This passage encourages us to live with integrity, knowing that God honors and rewards a life that reflects His values.

Deuteronomy 22 presents laws that underline the importance of justice and personal responsibility. These directives challenge us to uphold fairness and integrity in all aspects of our lives, ensuring that our actions align with God’s standards.

In 2 Corinthians 2:5-17, Paul addresses the need for forgiveness and reconciliation within the church. He highlights the importance of extending grace to those who have repented and living in a way that reflects Christ’s love for others.

Together, these scriptures call us to live with integrity, pursue justice, and practice forgiveness, reflecting the character of Christ in our lives.

Prayer of Illumination:
Lord, as we read Your Word, illuminate our hearts with understanding. Help us to embrace Your call for integrity and forgiveness, and guide us in living out these principles in our daily lives. May Your Spirit empower us to reflect Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
