Running with Purpose
Have you ever thought about what it means to run with purpose? Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 that in a race, all the runners run, but only one gets the prize. So we should run in such a way as to get the prize. Our race isn't just any race; it's the most important race of our lives!
Philippians 3:14 says, "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." This verse encourages us to keep our eyes on the prize and run with intention. God has a beautiful purpose for each of us, and He wants us to chase after it with all our hearts.
When we understand our purpose, our steps become intentional. We no longer run aimlessly, but with a clear direction. Just like an athlete visualizes the finish line, we need to envision our heavenly reward. It’s not just about reaching the end but about how we run our race. Every step and every choice should reflect our dedication to God's call.
Take a moment to pray and ask God to reveal His purpose for you. Write it down and keep it where you can see it every day. Let's run this race with a purpose that glorifies Him!
