Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of Ephesians

DAY 18 OF 40

Eph 3:10-13

Ephesians 3:10
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

God is desiring to make Himself known to the world through the church. The church is the one thing that Jesus said He would build.

Matthew 16:18
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Let us build what He’s building. What the church is making known to the world is not our ideas and imaginations, but the wisdom of God. The peace & purpose we received through Jesus.

Ephesians 3:12
In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

We live in a “do good, get good” world with a karma mentality where we strive to do good to outweigh the bad. This causes us to live in fear of judgement, and we lose our confidence in God and people.

Freedom is having nothing to prove and nothing to hide.

Our confidence is not resting on our ability to perform but on God’s character.

Hebrews 4:16 says,
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

So whether you’re approaching God in prayer, church, or in a Christian community, do not come with fear or doubt. Do not give in to guilt or shame.

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

About this Plan

Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of Ephesians

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The Christian walk can make you feel like striving when really everything has been done for you by Jesus, but there is still so much to be done. This is the tension every Christian walks in. The tension between the NOW & the NOT-YET. We are SEATED with Jesus, now WALK IT OUT, so that you may STAND.
