Born Again?Намуна
Grow up
When you were born, you had a clear purpose—to grow up. If you are 35 and still sipping on a bottle of warm milk while watching Cocomelon, you should probably talk to someone, because the purpose of your birth was not just to be born but rather to grow, mature, and become independent.
The same is true with being born again. When the Word of God changed your heart and brought you into God’s family, you were also given a clear purpose. Not just to sit around and wait for heaven but to grow up in your faith. Peter writes, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2).
Growing up as a child of God means an increasing awareness and gratitude for Jesus’ forgiveness (we never grow out of the gospel!), a better ability to do the right thing even when our parents (or pastor) aren’t watching, and a stronger grasp of God’s Word, which saves us from the bad influences of this world.
Want to know God’s purpose for your life? We all do. But we don’t have to guess or wait for a whisper. Grab the Bible with the passion of a hungry baby, and you will find plenty of ways to grow up in your salvation.

About this Plan
Some of us doubt our place in God’s family because we feel weak or struggle with the same sin year after year, but that doesn’t deny the evidence of true faith. Do you regret your sin? Do you believe Jesus died for you too? Then take heart! You have been born again!
