What is one thing you used to love as a kid that you may not love as much anymore? Maybe it's a meal, a game you used to play, or a toy you took everywhere. Whatever it was, you didn’t leave it behind because it was a bad thing. You left it behind because you’d outgrown it. You changed your mind about it. You no longer felt the same way about it, so you moved on. Unlike us, God is consistent in love. That means God’s mind is never going to change about us! So, when we read in Scripture about how God feels about us—that God loves us unconditionally and wants to be close to us—we can read that with confidence, knowing it will never change. God’s love for us remains the same no matter what!

Today, write down what you know to be true about God and how God feels about you. Keep the list as a reminder that those things will never, ever change!
