Where can I run to, where can I hide,
From the enemy's schemes, seeking to divide?
As the enemy prowls, intent to destroy,
Who’ll be my protector, a source of joy?
As darkness advances, stealing my cheer,
Who will be my hope, dispelling all fear?
Troubles of the day, heavy on my soul,
Bruised emotions, the enemy seeks control.
Seeking cover, searching wide,
For a shelter, a safe place to reside.
To Him I can run to, with Him I can hide,
He will be my shelter, a safe place to abide.
A sanctuary, a refuge, where peace can be found,
Tasting true freedom, No longer bound.
Under His Wings, where safety lies,
Behind the shield, my spirit flies.
Resting in knowledge, of His mercy and grace,
He’ll rescue me, hold me, in His warm embrace.
Under His wings, a shelter secure,
A Faithful God, in Him I can be sure.
He will cover with feathers, protect me with wings,
In Him, I can trust, from whom all life springs…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with a grateful heart acknowledging your unwavering faithfulness. Thank you for providing shelter under your wings, not just as a place of safety, but as an expression of your care and overwhelming love for us. Your promise to cover us with your feathers is a constant reminder of your intimate presence and protection in our lives.

Lord, we pray that you will give us a fresh revelation of your care, your love, and your protection as we come and sit in the comfort under your wings today and every day. Help us to truly understand the depth of your love and the extent of your provision, knowing that you are always there to shield and protect us from harm. Help us to run to you, and not away from you.

Thank You, Father, for your steadfast love and protection that never wavers. May we always find refuge and strength in you, our faithful and loving God.
