Qualifying to Work With God (Criteria for Divine Partnership)

DAY 20 OF 30

PRIORITIZE FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD OVER MEN

Mark 1:35

Meeting God before you start meeting men is a sign of wisdom. As a believer, your intimacy with God is a major determinant if God can work with you. In the world, maturity is rated based on your independence and ability to handle matters with little or no supervision. However, in the kingdom, it is the direct opposite. Your continuous dependence on God is what shows us how mature you are.

You need to be aware that one thing that success in life and ministry wants to take away from you is your friendship and intimacy with God. Don't allow God's moves and the Holy Ghost's operations in your life to separate you from your intimacy with God. One of the battles you will have to fight as you begin to succeed in life and ministry is maintaining your friendship and intimacy with God.

It is in the place of intimacy that your instructions are clarified. It is where God impregnates you with a divine vision for your life. You don't see a woman get pregnant in public; have you ever seen that before? Pregnancy always takes place in secret, and the impregnation with the visions of God for our lives takes place in the place of intimacy.

The more success you have in ministry and life, the more directions you should seek from God. This was where Joshua entered into trouble with the Gibeonites. Jezebel was no threat to Elijah when he was in his place. Elijah always said, "As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand." No Jezebel could terrorize him in that place. But as soon as he was no longer standing before God, Jezebel sought to have him killed. It shows us that all his strength came from where he was standing before the Lord.

PRAYER: LORD, help me to maintain a closer walk with you. Amen!
