God's Proposal - Reflection

REFLECTION 1

Psalm 25:8–10

Good and upright is the Lord. He is glad to teach the proper path to all, who go astray. He corrects the misdirected and sends them in the right direction. He guides sinners and wronged- ones to be righted. For the oppressed ones, He reveals His plans and makes His way clear. He is the essence of mercy and truth. He will teach the ways that are right and best for all those, who humbly turn to Him.

All of the paths of the Lord are grace and mercy and steadfast love. When we obey Him and cling to His promises and written instructions, every path He guides us on is fragrant with His lovingkindness, His truth and His faithfulness. All of the ways of the Lord are loving and sure. the Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness.

Proverbs 2:6–10

The Lord grants and supplies skillful and godly wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding. He grants good sense to His righteous ones. He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway. He shows how to distinguish right from wrong, how to find the right decision every time. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. He preserves the way of His Saints. He watches over everyone, who is faithful to Him.

You will understand what is just and fair in every course of life. Understanding will guard you and wisdom will save you. Truth will come into your heart and enter into the very center of your being, filling your life with joy.

Isaiah 58:11

The Lord will guide you always. He will continually satisfy you, in drought. He will refresh you, in dry places. He will slake your thirst, in parched lands. He will satisfy your needs with good things, in shimmering heat. He will give you a full life in the emptiest of places. He will satisfy even the scorched regions of your own soul.

He will renew your strength. He will make you healthy. He will keep you strong and well. You will have firm muscles and strong bones. Yes, your very bones will be invigorated!

Evermore shall the Eternal guide you, guarding you without fail. He will refresh and renew you. He will lead you until you are like a well-watered garden. You will be like an ever-flowing spring—a stream that never runs dry. You will be like an oasis with a steadfast spring.

John 14:6

Jesus said, “I AM the Way. I AM the Truth. I AM the Life, I alone, in contradistinction to all others. I, Myself, AM the road, the real, the true and the living way. Except through Me, no one can come into the Presence of the Father. The way to God, the Father, is through Me—the only way.”

2. Look through the readings, verses and your notes from Day 2 to Day 8.
3. Consider if these points are connected.
4. Copy down the verse in which God touches your heart.
5. At this point, what is God’s message to you?
6. Write a summary, reflection or note down remarks in your journal.
7. Pray to God based on the points noted down and continue your reading journey tomorrow.
