"A Long Love Letter" Reading and Prayer Guide

DAY 48 OF 50

Covenant - Bride

Revelation 19:7–9

Let us rejoice and be glad! Let us shout for joy, exulting and triumphant! Let us celebrate and ascribe to Him glory and honor for the wedding day and the marriage of the Lamb at last has come and His Bride has made herself ready. She is given a bridal gown of bright and shining, radiant and dazzling, resplendent linen. The finest of clean and white linen represents godly living and conduct, right standing with God and virtuous good deeds done by God’s saints, God’s holy people. The Angel said to me, Write this down. Blessed, happy, to be envied are those, who are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb—those, who have been invited to the Feast. He said to me further, these are the true words, the genuine and exact declaration, and the very words of God.

Song of Solomon 2:4

He has brought me to the banqueting house and His banner over me is love. Love waves a protecting and comforting banner over my head when I am near Him. He brings me to the banqueting hall and looks at me with love. His eyes feast on me and everyone can see how much He loves me.

Isaiah 62:4–5

You will no longer be spoken of as forsaken. No more will you be thought of as abandoned, rejected, desolate or God-forsaken. You will be called Beulah, happily married and My wedded wife, for the Lord claims you as His Own. You will be called Hephzibah, My delight is in her, for Yahweh has found delight in you. The Lord is delighted and pleased with you. Jehovah has tender affection for you. Your new name will be The Bride because the Lord loves you. As a bridegroom thrills to his bride so shall your God thrill to you. As a young man cares for his bride, your God will protect and care for you with joy. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, the Lord will rejoice over you.

Hosea 2:19–20

I will betroth you to Myself forever. Yes, I will loyally betroth you with unfailing devotion and steadfast love, in a bond of goodness and lovingkindness and in compassion and mercy. I will bond you to Me forever in chains of righteousness and justice. I will take you to be My wife in stability and fidelity, in faithful love and tenderness. I will love you with all of My heart. You will know Me then as you never have before. You will recognize, become acquainted with, give heed to, appreciate and cherish the Lord. You will learn of and understand the Eternal God. I will be true to you, My Wife.

Isaiah 54:10

For though the mountains would depart and disappear and the hills be shaken and removed, My steadfast love and kindness shall not depart from you. My covenant for your peace and welfare and completeness will not be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. I will always be merciful to you. My covenant of blessing will never be broken. My compact for your welfare shall stand firm. I won’t break My agreement or My promise of love. My faithful love will never leave you. My covenant love will never disappear or come to an end, so promises the eternal, the Merciful one. With lasting love, I AM tenderly caring for you.
