Mark - Living in the WordНамуна

PRAYER DIRECTION:
The smallest seed is used to explain the importance of sowing even the smallest things in faith. What the Lord does with the small supercedes our limits and produces solutions for more than just ourselves, but for others. The mustard seed provided branches for birds to nest and have shade. Our faith, as small as a mustard seed, when sown in good soil, covers more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine. Something small, with faith, can carry immense significance.
PRAYER OF PERSPECTIVE:
Lord, forgive me for allowing my judgment of small beginnings to limit my faith in how big You are! I pray that what You have shown me to sow, even if it’s so small, will benefit Your Kingdom. Thank You for reminding me it is not about me, but about You. I pray that You receive all the glory, and that my faith would rise in seeing all You do with one small step of obedience. I love You, Lord! May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark is considered by some to be the most important of the “synoptic” gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), mainly because it was the earliest written. With brevity and urgency, John Mark describes the birth, life, work and teachings of Jesus Christ. Highlighted with action and vivid storytelling, this Gospel underscores the transformative power of faith and encourages us to remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
