TheLionWithin.Us: How to Transform Vision Into ActionНамуна
Seeing Vision
Doing something new can be scary and a recent example exemplifies that.
After many years of living in a subdivision, God called us to trade that comfortable lifestyle for something new – farm life. He opened doors we never thought possible and today we find ourselves caring for a small farm, and the learning curve has been steep. Since the first day on the farm, the vision has been getting clearer as we go.
There are times when we throw up our hands and question what God has in store but there is solace in knowing that if we continue to wake up each day and pursue Him, the vision will continue to manifest before our eyes. Turning to Scripture for further insight regarding vision, you don’t have to go far into the Bible to find a man that had a clear vision presented to him – Abram.
God's call to Abram illustrates the transformative power of a clear, unshakable vision. When God instructed Abram to leave his homeland and embark on a journey to an unknown destination, He presented a vision that transcended human understanding. Similarly, by surrendering to God's vision, we step into a realm of divine guidance and purpose, trusting in His wisdom to lead us forward.
Upon reflecting on Abram's obedience to God's vision, one item stands out as paramount: the courage required to step into the unknown. Casting vision often entails leaving behind familiar territories and embracing the uncertainty of new beginnings. Yet, just as our decision to embrace farm life and Abram’s decision to be obedient, it is in the leap of faith that God reveals His faithfulness and provision.
The clarity of vision not only empowers but also inspires and unifies. As we take steps of obedience for ourselves, we become better at explaining vision for others, which in turn creates more alignment across the board when working with a team. Just as Abram's obedience sparked a legacy of faith and leadership, our commitment to God's vision has the power to impact generations. By casting a vision grounded in God's promises, we invite others to join us on a journey of purpose and significance, fostering unity and alignment in our communities and organizations.
