God's Redemption Story (The Prophets)

DAY 19 OF 40

Jeremiah Week 1 – Day 4

God knew Judah would never find their way out of their sinful nature. As a society, they worshiped everything except the one true God, and breaking down that culture was too big a job for them to do alone. But Jeremiah 3 makes clear that God wanted to do the work for them. Verse 22 states directly that He would heal their faithlessness. He wanted to repair what was broken.

And the same goes for you and me. God offers so much more than forgiveness—He’s not just crossing sins off a list and saying we don’t have to pay for that one. He wants to heal what is hurting and broken inside us. He wants to make us whole again. Do you have deep wounds from your own sin and from the sins of the culture around us? Turn to God, the only one big and strong enough to heal you.
