God's Plan With the NightНамуна
Dreams of warning.
In the first book of the Bible, we read that God speaks through dreams. His loving Fatherheart makes His will for His children known, and He speaks during the day and the night. If we look at those dreams and nightly encounters in the Bible, we see some different kinds of dreams through which He speaks. We read about dreams wherein God gives direction or insight and encouragement or warning. When God gives a dream of warning, He shows that there is something dangerous or damaging about to happen. God is a Father Who protects His children from wrong choices because He knows what kind of influence that choice will have on our lives. A dream of warning is not a penalty from a punitive God but a revelation of God’s loving and protective Fatherheart.
In the life of Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, you read several times that God warns and gives direction through a dream. He leads Joseph into the fatherhood of Jesus and makes sure that His precious family stays out of the hands of the raging King Herod. God does this from clarity and rest. He gives Joseph the courage to respond directly to His Words, which kept them safe. But it is not God's intention to only protect His children, He wants to bring His children into the center of His will where they can receive His promises. Joseph's case portrays that so well. Whilst Jesus was still a baby who couldn’t make any choices yet, the first prophecies regarding His life were being fulfilled because His father, Joseph, listened to God’s voice in the night.
Dreams of warning don’t cause stress or anxiety, but they lead you away from bad choices. God gives you the courage to respond to what He has spoken, and He brings you back into the center of His will, where God’s plan for your life becomes visible.
After this, you read two exceptional Bible Stories in which God’s Fatherheart is revealed if you have eyes to see it.
