You've Got to Focus to Fight: A 5 Day Guide to Focusing Through Life’s Challenges for God’s GirlsНамуна
You’re a tough cookie. Yep, I said it. You’re it. You’re that girl. You’re the one. You’re amazing. You’re excellent. You’re magnificent. You’re chosen. You’re called. You’re anointed. Who can stand in your way? You’ve focused all week; you’ve fought. You're stronger today than you were yesterday. You cast your cares, you took inventory of the enemy’s schemes, you stared the issues of life in the eye, and you came out victorious. How do I know? You’re here. You’re reading this. You’ve overcome by the word of your OWN testimony. The faithfulness of God has proved true in your life. He was right about you. You are worth fighting for. Prayerfully, you can pat yourself on the back, if for nothing else, because you did exactly what you came to do. You learned how to focus to fight. You took life by the horns, and you decided to do something about how you felt. You met God along the way, and you should feel your shoulders sliding back and your chin naturally lifting. I hope you didn’t roll your eyes because I meant every word I spoke over you. It’s not easy to admit that you need God. It’s not easy to admit that you don’t have it all together, but that’s the beautiful thing about being a part of such a magnificent Body. You don’t have to have it all together; you just need to know the One who does. And be willing to reach for support when you’ve hit a rough patch. Kudos. Now,
{SAY THIS} I made it. I am a living, breathing example of what it looks like to focus and fight. I am exactly where I need to be in Christ. I am found under the shadow of His wings, and I am safe. I am protected. I am covered. God will never leave me nor forsake me. I believe it. As I go about the rest of my days, I will remember to focus to fight. I will remember to fix my eyes on the One who knows me best, and when I am feeling low, I will remember who holds my heart. Jesus, thank you for loving me like You do. Holy Spirit, thank you for leading me and guiding me with tender mercies every day. I will continue to focus. I will continue to fight. Until the day of the Lord Jesus Christ, I will make it my goal to tame my thoughts and speak life. Amen.
