Day 1
Build Yourselves Up On Your Most Holy Faith.
”But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.“ Jude 1:20-21 KJV
Build and continue to build. May your faith be strengthened as you surrender every area of your heart to Christ. Build up yourselves on your most Holy faith. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Allow your heart to be washed by the Word of God. Let your heart be renewed. Let your heart be transformed.
Building your faith requires endurance. Building your faith requires tenacity. For when the winds come—fear not—God is with you. The wind wasn’t meant to harm you—it was sent to propel you.
For what the enemy meant for evil—God will use it for your good. God will use every aspect of your story for good. God will use everything the enemy meant for evil for your growth, development, acceleration, and elevation. Remember that God saw the storm before it formed—so trust that God’s got you. He has you.
May He undergird you. May your faith be strengthened in seasons of turmoil. May your faith be built in every season of life.
The Amplified Version expounds upon Jude 1:20-21 AMPC in the following manner, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)–[which will bring you] unto life eternal.“
Make progress toward the mark. Make progress towards your goal. Progress is better than stagnation. Build yourselves up founded on your most holy faith. Diligently make progress and rise like an edifice higher and higher.
As you overcome obstacles, as you conquer shortcomings, as God gives you the wisdom to grow—keep yourselves in the love of God. May your faith grow from level to level. With every experience, may your faith be stretched and strengthened.
”But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.“ Jude 1:20-21 NLT.
Build up someone else. Strengthen someone else. Don’t let the circumstances of life harden you. Build each other up. Build up your family. Build up your spouse. Build up your brother. Build up your sister. Build up the Body of Christ.
