Heavenly Father, I know you are my shepherd, and I shall not want, but I am struggling to be content. I am not where I want to be in life, and it causes me frustration. Help me to keep an eternal perspective and to delight in you so that my heart is filled with your desires, not the desires of my flesh.
Bring to my memory your promise that there is great gain in godliness when I am content. Above all else, let me keep my mind on you, trusting your perfect timing.
You are so good, and I desire to love and serve you all my days.
