God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)Намуна
The Promise - 5/5
Sometimes we think of David as this great king who loved God and did everything right, but he was a big sinner like the rest of us. And when he sinned, God called him out. For one of his sins, God gave him a choice—famine, losing to his enemies, or the sword of the Lord. David chose option three because he knew God’s mercy and love.
God showed us the greatest mercy when he sent his own Son to die on the cross to pay for our sin. Jesus could have jumped off the cross at any moment, but he willingly gave up his own life so we could spend eternity with him in heaven. Take a moment right now to thank him for his amazing grace.
