Real Hope: Seeking TruthНамуна
Seek Truth
It’s a characteristic of human nature that we seek to know the truth. We investigate through science, strive to understand how things work, and desire to know the truth about our world and how it was created.
Jesus says that if we remain in His Word as His disciples, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free (John 8:31–32). Jesus declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). He points us toward a relationship with Him and understanding God's sacrificial love for us.
To seek truth means to seek the creator of the universe, to understand all He has done for us. Upon knowing Him and accepting Him, we can apply this truth to our everyday lives. The passion to seek Him comes from the Holy Spirit, who enlightens us to seek truth outside of ourselves.
If you or someone you know is desiring to seek holy truth in their life, pray for revelation, pray for connection with God’s Word, and pray that they experience the love and presence of God in their daily lives.
John 16:13 says, ‘But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.’
