Is this all falling apart or is it me

Are these dreams decayed or buried like a seed to grow

I'm clinging on to all I know as true

That I'm deeply found and held within your view

God tonight I bring this litany to You

Have you ever found yourself lying awake at night, the weight of doubt pressing against the vast dreams God has placed within you? It's in these moments, reminiscent of Abraham counting stars, that our faith faces the silent fears and questions that surround you and your bed.

Imagine the quiet of the night, the same stillness that enveloped Abraham as he stood beneath the vast canvas of stars. It's in this hushed space that doubt often creeps in, casting shadows on the dreams God has sown deep within your heart.

Like Abraham, you may find yourself doubting the enormity of the dreams God has planted within you. In the midst of uncertainty, it's natural to question whether these dreams will truly unfold as promised. Yet, it's precisely in these moments that God invites you to trust His faithfulness.

As Abraham counted stars, each one represented a promise from God. It wasn't merely Abraham being caught up in his hobby of stargazing; this moment was a tangible expression of God’s plan unfolding before his eyes

. Likewise, as you lie awake at night, consider the dreams within you as stars—countless, vast, and part of a divine plan.

In the quiet of the night, acknowledge the doubts that dance in your mind, and remain honest with God about your uncertainties. Know that, just as Abraham must have faced questions and doubts, God is not afraid of your doubts. His promises are not weakened by your questions; instead, God’s promises remain firm in our moments of honesty.

Despite the doubts that may weave their way through your thoughts, choose to trust in God's faithfulness. Recall the promises He has spoken to your heart. Just as Abraham learned to trust, may you too find solace in the certainty that God is faithful to His Word.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, in the stillness of the night, we bring our doubts to You. Like Abraham, we wrestle with uncertainties about the dreams You've placed within us. Strengthen our faith to trust in Your unfailing promises, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
