Pouring Love

Living loved is one of the key ways we guard ourselves against fear, comparison, shame, unworthiness and more. Living loved is about you recognising your divine identity as a daughter of God and focusing your attention on the reality of His unconditional love for you. When you are intentional about reminding yourself that you are loved by God daily, you close the door to the enemy's lies that state otherwise. By default this also opens the door for you to experience the Fathers compassion, kindness and love.

God has never stopped loving you, that would go against who He is. Love is who He is. The Father truly delights in you. No performance or perfection is required to experience His love, just an open and tender heart.

PRAYER

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of God, as Father. Ask Him to affirm your divine identity as a child of God. Ask that as He pours out His love into your heart, that the power of His love will override shame, condemnation and any fear that has oppressed or limited you. Ask God to give you the grace to receive His love and compassion towards you.

AFFIRMATION

The Lord delights in me. I am loveable and worthy of being loved well.

PRACTICE

Take a moment to just declare ‘I am loved by you God. You delight in me’.

Each time you make this declaration be still for a minute, and let that Truth sink in. Make it a habit to constantly remind yourself of the truth that you are loved and accepted by God. He is always willing to pour out His love on you, but you have to be open to receive it.
