Don't Worry 5 Day DevotionalНамуна
Day One
Provision and Peace
Promise:
“This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25 (TPT)
Reflection:
When we worry, we are essentially expressing doubt that the best possible outcome will happen. However, Jesus teaches us not to worry because He can provide for all our needs. Doubting, in a way, is a lack of faith in God's ability to do what He has promised. If you find yourself worrying, it may help to read these verses to strengthen your faith. As the Bible says, faith comes from hearing the Word of God. You can grow your faith by intentionally planting His Word in your heart.
Prayer:
Father God, I am grateful that you have instructed me not to worry and that you are willing to provide for me. Thank you for blessing me with work, your favor, opportunities to increase my wealth, and all things good. I put my trust in you today and always, in the name of Jesus. Amen
Declaration:
I have a calm heart, wisdom, and understanding to guide my life.

About this Plan
Worry is a human emotion that can overwhelm any person without an anchor of hope from Scripture to rely on. A peaceful existence is possible when we put the Word of God in our hearts. God's promises give us the fighting power to resist worry with confidence in God and His divine power working on our behalf. Trust is the eliminator of worry. © 2023 by Francine Pierson.
