We’re learning all about kingdom people and the early church; it’s all about how the Church began in the time after Jesus went back to heaven. Let’s look back at the time of the early church.

Soon after Jesus died on the cross, rose again, and ascended to heaven, followers of Jesus had all gathered in one place. The Holy Spirit came upon them, and the Church was born. From here, the message of Jesus spread. About three thousand people were filled with the Holy Spirit and took the message of forgiveness back to their own countries.

The Bible tells us about some amazing people who built God’s Kingdom and took the message of Jesus to the world. We read about these people, their adventures, challenges, and miracles in the New Testament from the book of Acts to Revelation. Many of these books were letters written to guide the church as it first began. We can learn from these heroes of the early church how we can be kingdom people, too. Kingdom people build the church.
