Bold Prayers

Jesus told His disciples that they would do all that He did in His ministry and more. This is no small statement! He was speaking of miracles, signs, and wonders: large displays of God’s power. We were never meant to stay small in prayer or in faith. When He said to ask anything, He meant it. This includes the big, bold prayers that would be impossible to accomplish in our humanity. May we take Jesus at His word today and ask Him for the greater things. He has not stopped moving in power, so let’s not stop asking Him to show up in wonderful ways.

Jesus, You make the impossible possible! You are constant and never changing, Your power is just as great now as it was when You walked the earth. I can do all things through You. I place my faith and hope in You today: that each bold prayer I ask You will answer.
