Divine Union

DAY 1 OF 3

In Christ, there is no distance and separation. These illusions have been destroyed via the finished work of Christ. The veil has been torn and thus, access to and position in Him have been opened. We have been brought into a unified life in Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:17 states that “But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.”

A supernatural fusion has taken place as we have been woven and intertwined into Christ. We don’t know where we end and He begins because we are one. Jesus modeled a unified existence when He walked the earth. John 5:19 says, “So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.” John 14:10 says, “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.” The manifestations of heaven through the life of Jesus on earth were due to His connection with the Father. He recognized that apart from this divine place, there would be nothing fruitful and lasting.

We see the life of Jesus and the fruitfulness of His life connected to his oneness with the Father. All fruitfulness flows from a greater awareness of our oneness with Christ. Our life is moving at the speed of our awareness of oneness, which is the pace of grace. An increased awareness is one of the most important upgrades in our consciousness that is needed for a sustainable and impactful life.

Acts 17:28 says, “for “In him we move and have our being.” The movement of our life is flowing outside of the constraints of performance and within the beauty of romance; being overwhelmed by the love of God. We can take confidence in what Jesus has accomplished for us. Confidence is the consequence of oneness. The more aware we become of our union with Him, the more confident we become. God is not our resource; He is our source. He is the source of all things.

Our spirit was dead before Christ. Think of it like a black hole that was sucking in every hope and dream with its gravitational pull. Romans 8:10 says, “But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” There’s an other-worldly substance called the righteousness of God in Christ that took our dead, black hole-like spirit and reversed the polarity, empowering it like a star. In fact, we are children of Light. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 says, “For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.”

We now carry the light of God within our spirit due to the astounding event of His righteousness making our spirit alive in Christ and one with Him. We shine from this place that is an eternal supply. Jesus, the well, has been opened and we will never reach the bottom of His utter abundance. From this overflow, we flow. From union with Christ, everything fruitful freely flows to the world around us.

Speak Up: Declaration

I am one with Christ where there is no distance and no separation. He has fused His life with mine and now we will shine as the light of the world. My life is marked by fruitfulness because I am connected to the source of all things, Jesus Christ. My life is moving at the speed of my awareness of my oneness with Christ, thus, I am walking at the pace of grace. Performance is not my portion. I yield to the overwhelming and all-encompassing love of God and let His breakers break over me, wave after wave.
